The Steele’s Story
My name is Scott Steele. I am a second generation meat processor and have 10+ years of experience in the field working for various operations in Florida, Georgia and Missouri.
I grew up in central Florida and attended college at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA. My desire to be a butcher came from my job at Towson Meats, the butcher shop I worked at while in college. For the last five years, I’ve lived in Kansas City, MO working for National Beef as a cattle buyer. The big corporate world taught me a lot, but I continued to dream about serving a local community with my knowledge, but more importantly my passion, of the meat industry.
The first time I came to Jefferson City, I not only fell in love with my fiancé, Carol, but also the town. After spending some time here we agreed this was the perfect community to start our lives together and to share my passion for high quality meats with. Our vision is to provide you with high quality products and service like no other. We look forward to seeing and meeting you and your families soon!
